Every morning when i wake up, i have a habit to smile because i know that there is a text from Brandon

The California sunsets I wish I could see, laying on the grainy sand, her beside me.
Lauren's blue eyes glisten as the sun starts to hide in the water.
We look at each other.. this has to be a dream.
I lean into kiss her then, my sleepy eyes open.. it was just a dream.
I spend my days thinking of her, wishing these dreaded miles didn't separate us.
Without her i wouldn't be who i am today.
